Bloom

No matter how grey winter can get, when you turn the page into a new year, little touches of colour can still surprise you.  Popping out at most unexpected corners.

Winter

November and December came and went in a whirl for us.

From birthdays to bonfire night, pre festivities and christmas seemed to flit past in a blink of an eye.

Plums

When we moved here we were knee deep in darkness, the depths of winter had set in and our eyes accustomed to the long drawn out nights.

The garden appeared barren, dormant and desolate.  All the tress stood still with twisted branches that looked like veins silhouetting the bleak landscape.  But we had trees on our small patch of earth and for me that was all I needed to get me through to spring.

Dreamer

Imagination is such a marvellous thing.

The games I would play, the stories I would create.  Characters, worlds and alternative lives I would act out.  Down to the smallest detail.  All from within my imagination.
