A quilt for baby Isabella

Ta-da, finished at last!!

This poor quilt has been in the making for two years now. It started off being a quilt for my sister and her then fiancee as a wedding gift - they got married in May 2007 - but I fell pregnant with our little Tabi 'boo' and the quilt went on hold for the most bizarre reason - motion related things made me sick. From sitting at the computer, watching television to 'yep' even using my sewing machine!

I know a strange symptom, but I thought 'well ok, when the little Boo is born I can pick it up again' then it would be finished for their first wedding anniversary. Tabi came and the motion sickness stopped, but what I didn't count on was how much hard work three children were and how full on life would get.

So two years later it is finally finished. I know it's shrunk, not quite big enough for a king size bed, but my sister and her now husband have had their own gorgeous little one so my quilt is now perfect for a cot.
