Bags, bags glorious bags - in my opinion a girl can 'never' have too many.
Which is why I've decided to make a crochet bag for all my wool and crochety* things following the instructions from here. Not only does it look like such a wonderful, technicolour'ful' useful and pretty thing to behold, but I am soooo fed up with the paper bag my wool is currently housed in and it's now starting to split and look tatty!
So with all my odds and ends of wool that I've picked up on my charity shop travels...
...I've started to make a crochety bag.
This isn't to say I have finished the 'Red and White' cushion (yet) and have now moved onto my next project 'oh no' I just find the piecing together stage a bit boring, but I am tackling it one square a day which is good going for me really as I have patchwork quilts I made 'years ago' that still need quilting - I find that boring too! So looking at it this way I should have the cushion finished by the end of next week - maybe.
I just needed something easy to do with my twitchy crafty fingers that I can easily pick up and put down as and when the mood requires and hopefully not only have a very useful item, but a pretty addition to the Tabiboo home - I hope!
Have a super fab day - maybe a day for a bit of beach hutting me thinks??
*nb. Tabiboo made up word: crochety - something that refers to in either 'to make' or' be made of' or 'instruments' referring to the use of making.
