... seem to have woken from their slumber and are ever so slowly creeping out from their Winter hiddie holes and hibernation.
You thought I was going to recite the poem didn't you? 'Ahhhhhh well no' as I don't really care for it much - it's a bit grim, but if you want to read it then click here.
Little Boo and I have spent the past couple of days hacking back and clearing the jungle known as our back garden.
Well we have kind of neglected it for the past (cough, cough) five'ish' years, but feeling like I've either been pregnant or with babe in arms for roughly that amount of time my priorities have been somewhat else where.
But with the sun shining gloriously this week and the need to stay close to home the back garden was our 'best of both worlds' to enjoy Mrs Sunshine....and with my trusty little helper in tow we managed to tackle a considerable amount of the over grown'ness'......and blimey the things we found hidden - well apart from ladybirds that is.
Bits of Lego, lost tennis balls, a Spiderman (from the eldest's pre school days!!) pegs, toy cars.....the list is endless, but it's looking mighty fine out their right now, albeit the mass of cuttings that need bagging up but at least it's looking a lot more promising with the possibility for colour and imagination to have thrown at it this year - she says!!
I'm thinking a bit more finger crossing might be in order - as usual.
Though I've got so many fingers crossed at the moment I'm going to have to start tying bits of string around them or add my toes into the crossing and hold my breath equation.
Momentum is good, but I do tend to stray very easily!!
Happy midweek and (more) fingers crossed for the weather staying warm and fine!
ps. Happy St Patrick's Day to all my wonderful Irish friends - eat drink and be very, very merry.......I know you will!!!!
