Romancing the Blanket
As promised I thought I would post a few (cough, cough) pictures of the progress on my crochet blanket.....so far.
Now it's a bit of a crochet blanket photo overload today, but I just couldn't help myself - sorry!
I'm just loving the look, feel weight and snuggle factor of this little blanket.
It really is coming along very nicely indeed.......considering I can't crochet!
And I'm still thoroughly enjoy the therapeutic round and roundness of this pattern and how easy it is to pick up as and when then put to one side if needs be - which is fairly frequent in the Tabiboo household.
Of course children are not the only demand on my time.....I still have washing up to do, lunches to make, little ones to school, cleaning, ironing, dusting, bed making, shopping, planning, organising and a 1001 other chores to attend to on a daily basis, hence my lack of being able to sit and blog much these days (sorry - I am trying) but hey ho as Esther Rantzen would say 'That's Life!!' - do you remember? Do you?!
Anyway (I feel) it's looking just the business and fingers crossed I may even have it finished in time for Easter - that's not a promise, just a sigh and a hope in a fingers crossed kind of way.
And...........I'm even starting to think about the next little project!
Only joking - I think I may need to get Easter out of the way first as the children will never forgive me.
Wishing you a fabulous day........
