On a windswept beach at the beginning of April, the start of the Easter holidays and just around the corner from home....
Although the scenery is somewhat dramatic on these grey and eerie days I'm kind of hoping they will be few and far between from here on in now until Autumn firmly sets in (again) later in the year.
Albeit though the odd Summer thunderstorm, because let's face it, there is nothing more dramatic then watching a storm brew out at sea.
Though take a look at these postings, this time last year and what we were up to yesterday and tomorrow - a year ago! Hope that makes sense?
With white cliff faces jutting out and a mass of sandy wide open space we are really lucky that when the tide goes out, it really goes out and you can walk along the coast between our home town and Margate/Ramsgate - albeit with the odd scramble over a rock or two.
And when it does it leaves revealing the odd hidden (smugglers entrance?) mystery, fishing nets, sand mounds (someone digging for worms, maybe?) driftwood and sea life.
All waiting for the tide to come back in again and hide their secrets once more.
The end of the holidays (Spring break) are almost over, but 'oh' what fun we've had, though it's not over yet - we still have the weekend with a few more adventures lined up.
Have a good one.
