Cloudy with a Sprinkling of Sunshine

Hello lovely ones -

I can't believe it's almost the end of the week......already!

I'm at least two days behind with this posting, but better late then never as they say - an impromptu walk with the girls that we (I) decided to take on Tuesday afternoon.

Fed up with being cooped up inside we (I) decided to just head out and take our luck with the weather.

And as you can see it was pretty murky - which as you probably already know (if you live in the UK) has been the case most of this Summer.

But you can't plan your life around the weather now can you? Welllll not too much and some days, when mummy feels like she is turning even greyer because the darling kiddies are bouncing off the ceilings and walls....... sofas, beds and all around the house in general then it's worth risking getting a little bit wet just to save your sanity!

Plus apart from the odd other harassed parent that I nodded to in that knowing 'you too' kind of way, we pretty much had the beach to ourselves to run, jump, explore, climb, rock pool and beach comb.

Anyhow our luck did pay off and it didn't rain as you can see - the skies actually did brighten up and 'OMG' is that blue sky I can spy?

'Yep' it certainly is - peeking out through a sprinkling of fluffy white clouds mind you, but I can put up with that.

Honestly I almost jumped up and tried to kiss that blueness of blue - all hail Mr Blue Sky - I have missed you soooooo much.

It even warranted a spot of delayering and 'off' with the cardies - hello sun.

But as we started to head for home the clouds turned heavy and gloomy again - though if you look very, very closely.....can you see some blue??

Sorry for the picture show today and very little words. Sometimes I get so stuck for words that the only thing that seems to fall out of my mouth is utter 'blah' and trust me, on days like this it's better the less I say then - the better!!

I think I may need to take a little break - and if I don't pop in before - as always, have a fabulous weekend my friends.
