Well sort of!!
Hello on this very late Sunday evening - have you had a wonderful weekend?
Our weekend has been chocka block, but most enjoyable with a little bit of cooking and a little bit of baking, sprinkled with a little bit of preserving and lots and lots of laughing and eating - the best kind of weekend I would say.
An unkempt little one (I forgot to brush her hair - well it was very early Saturday morning. Pre 10am!) helping 'dad da' prep tomatoes for another batch of chilli jam.
Anyhow, as it's very late I'm just popping in to say 'Hi' - all the weekly ironing has been done, school stuff is all ready for tomorrow, the little ones are in bed fast asleep and Mr Boo and I are just about to sit down with our feet up and a glass of wine to catch up on Merlin that we missed last night.

...lemon polenta cake from her new cook book. I have never made a cake with polenta before, but this is truly delicious - as you can see, not much left - and something I will make time and time again - very quick and easy and as Nigella says 'what lemon curd would taste like in cake form'
