Where does the time fly?

I've been meaning to say thanks to Lou at The Little Green Shed now for well, it feels like a couple of days to be honest, but in reality I fear it is more like a couple of weeks - sorry Lou.

For you see I won Lou's 100th post giveaway a - cough cough - couple of weeks ago and these are the goodies she sent me.

To be honest all I was expecting was a jar of her rather delicious homemade strawberry jam and I do remember saying at the time 'go on then, you can never have too many jars of jam' or there abouts.

So when this little - cough, cough again - parcel turned up with our postie arms out stretched (he wasn't part of the giveaway by the way) my jaw did drop a bit.

Not because of the parcel in itself 'oh no' but because of the contents.

It still amazes me that a person I have never met before - only via the lines of blogsville - knows me sooooooo well. Gosh I must waffle alot...........and then some.

And the thought that went into my parcel of goodies, well it just blew me away.

Not one, but two jars of deliciousness, candles wrapped in spotty green ribbon, Christmas stickers and a vintage book on trees all accompanied by a wonderful strawberry notelet and message from the lady herself - please stop me now before I start blubbing again. Flipping hormones.

So 'thank you ' Lou again and sorry it's a little bit late, but I love my goodies and blimey I do love this little land they call blogsville.

It's filled with the most amazing, generous, kind hearted and thoughtful people.............people like you.

Yes, I'm pointing at YOU!!

Well best go - I've been up for an hour or so and am still not dressed.

Ah well it is Sunday, but then again we do have friends coming round for breakfast in roughly..........45 mins. Oh bugger.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and Sundaying - what ever you get up to.

ps. Mr T has been told very sternly to keep his mucky little paws off my jars of goodies!!
