Well a birthday wouldn't be a birthday without presents now would it.
I tried to go as homemade, hand crafted and non plastic as I could this year because, well just because I guess.
I never was any good at trying to explain myself and gawd knows most have given up figuring out my verbal rambles - even I sometimes think 'what the........' some days!
Now I doubt in my lifetime that I will ever own a vintage caravan/trailer 'or' a VW Camper Van so I guessed the next best thing (when I found these lovelies) would be to spoil my little Boo and indulge - both our - imaginations through play - don't you just love these?
I'm thinking a serious overhaul - design wise - though and am planning lots of little makey stuff in the way of cushions, curtains, bedding and much much more - do you think the Littlest Boo will cotton on that I really bought these 'toys' for me?
I kind of figured though that we would both get the enjoyment - her with the playing and me with the vintage day dreaming - and maybe if she is interested could also help make some little things of her own to add out of old cotton reels and some gingham fabric - here's me hoping more than she probably realises.
The dolls house even has its own Rufus!
And later in the day - well this is how our front room looked -
messy, but contented.
Thank you for all your warm birthday wishes yesterday - they really touched my heart.
