Christmas Mug House
How cute are these?
With some chilled down dough that we had left over from our 'Home Made' biscuits last week and after finding this rather gorgeous little tutorial from Not Martha the Littlest Boo and I made ourselves some Christmas - log cabin style - houses to sit on the side of our cups on Sunday.
Now mine are no where near as beautiful or divinely decorated as Megan's but I do have to say I had help (as mentioned) from a certain little three year old.
She did the sprinkles and I patiently tried to assemble the houses with some sticky icing and a lot of balancing and lip biting. It was tricky - but we got there in the end.
And I have to say these are 'the best' and most adorable thing I have discovered......and made - so far - this December and the kids tell me they are super tasty.
I'm thinking a Christmas mug house for everyone this year - happy days or should that be Christmas?!
Though next time I think I may opt for a brown biscuit dough - ginger or chocolate?
I think you can guess which one it will be!
Best get baking - only two weeks (and a bit) left until Christmas.
