Nina Nixon

I'm Nina, a photographer, film maker and forever wanderer.  Passionate about nature, the great outdoors and all of life's adventures.  This is the place where I keep all my 'field notes'

It's been rather stormy here this past week and mostly at night.

The wind howling, rattling the windows in their panes and rain 'oh' so much rain leaving the very earth damp, wet and soggy in its wake as the day unfolds.

Branches ripped from trees and still leaves getting blown and blustered around - here, there and everywhere.

The morning school walk makes for a most interesting adventure.

Wellie boots and puddle jumping and 'not' walking too close to the curb for fear of being splashed by some impatient - regardless - driver.

Hair whipping in our faces and our outer clothes all damp and drippy for most of the day, until it is time to put them back on again and repeat the whole process.

Still it's good being tucked up inside all cosy, comfy and warm.

Though hurry up February - I don't mind the stormy weather, but please bring with you some clearer - warmer - skies.
