Feeling Good

Birds flyin' high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by you know how I feel
Its a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life for me
yeah, its a new dawn its a new day its a new life for me ooooooooh
AND I'M FEELING GOOD

Fish in the sea, you know how I feel
River runnin' free you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree you know how I feel
Its a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life for me
And I'm feelin good

Dragonfly out in the sun you know what i mean dont you know
Butterflies all havin' fun you know what I mean
Sleepin' peace when day is done that's what I mean
And this old world is a new world and a bold world for me

Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the crime you know how I feel
Your freedom is mine, and I know how I feel
Its a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life for me

OH I'M FEELING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

I love this song, it always puts a tingle up my spin whenever I hear it and the radio always gets turned up 'full whack' especially when it is sung with such passion and 'umph' and even more so since one of my favourite bands - Muse - have done a rendition of it.

And this is exactly how I'm feeling this week - so far!

We are having the most perfect Spring like week.

From sitting on the trampoline dangling my legs - boot/shoe free - in purple Noa Noa spotted tights, sipping coffee and indulging in my first chocolate egg of the year whilst observing the blossom getting ready to pop and the blueness of the sky.

To padding around the house noticing all the good things - and the bad like sticky finger marks, mess and splodges, but I try hard to ignore those - as the sunlight streams through.

From perfect pastel tones and sweet smelling Spring flowers that adorn almost every room to the smell of freshly line dried linen and that homely feel when you get a waft of cake slowly baking in the oven or proper coffee hissing and brewing on the machine.

Saying that though it's all gone grey now!

Aaahhhhhhh well - it's still feeling good.
