I'm Nina, a photographer, film maker and forever wanderer.  Passionate about nature, the great outdoors and all of life's adventures.  This is the place where I keep all my 'field notes'

After what seems like many many moons and for some reason unknown to me I decided to start sewing squares together at the weekend.

Of course a new patchwork blanket was in mind, but why the urge has hit me now I cannot answer that.

But for the first time in what seems like a very long time - over two years now - I feel like making a patchwork quilt again.

Maybe it's all the Springiness in the air with it's beautiful vibrant and pastel colours that has made me down crochet hook - I have become less then enthusiastic these past couple of weeks 'bored' I think you could say! - and maybe my subconscious has made me turn to my first true love - patchwork.

I think this was my last big 'patchy' project and I blogged about it within my very first week. It's strange looking back and something I tend not to do very often.

Though I think I can say things have got a little more busy at 'Tabiboo' since little old computer shy me took those very first tentative steps into the fantastic (and fascinating) world of blogging.

Anyway - enough of that trip down memory lane.

I only had enough squares to make a dollies/pram size quilt so I'm doing a lot of pondering at the moment - it may involve some very bad drawings and graph paper at some point - that's if I don't make up my mind on how to continue.

Or it'll end up in the 'WIP' pile like many other started and 'I'm bored' projects!

Hey ho, my distraction at the moment is the sun and blue sky and a very nice distraction it is too.

Have a beautiful day and happy flipping later on. Unless of course 'unlike me' you were very organised this morning and it was pancakes for breakfast? Shame on you.

ps. photos have been retrieved though I won't be able to see for myself until Thursday and until that moment I remain optimistic.
