Pitter Patter

Can you hear it?

Ever so gently like a small child's feet - pitter patter - creeping up on you ready to 'pounce' - hello!

Spring is coming and it's whispering softly in the air, on the warm currents and faint flowing breeze.

Slowly, slowly - it feels so painfully slowly - but it is coming and every day now there is a new joy to discover, tingling with anticipation and bursting happiness and remember the Springs of past - relishing that moment because we know what is to come.

Still resting on laurels 'I know' but planning, imagining and preparing it's welcome return.

Oh please hurry up - I can't wait to get stuck in.

We are having 'the most' amazing blue skies here today and warmth 'oh my word' I can actually feel warmth in the air with the odd - faint - whiff of the sea.

Well that last part kind of figures as we only live a stones throw away from the ocean!!

But when the air warms up that briny aroma leaves the confines of the beach and wafts up the hill reminding you of the place that you live - the place that you call home.

Back doors kicked open letting in the goodness and a rotary full of washing puffing up and down gently in the sway.

Sunshiny smiles and twinkling blue skies - have a most beautiful day.

ps. thank you for 'all' your lovely comments and messages over the past couple of posts. I find out today whether my photos have been recovered - memories are important, but for me when that fails with older age - and I'm sure it will come - and things become even more muddled in my head, then the visual always transports me into a once lived memory and makes it come alive once again.

Also we had a lovely anniversary - thank you so much - no spoiling just simple things. Lunch at our favourite pub that holds so many memories. A walk in the sun a glass of fizz and lots and lots of cuddling up and remember so many different moments that have happened in our short sixteen years of marriage.
Happy days.
