Fields of gold

So you know when you go out for a walk and you take your camera with you - naturally - it's instinctive, like second nature, an extension of your limbs.  You wouldn't leave an arm or a leg behind now would you.

Of course you would take your camera with you - any opportunity to take some wonderful pictures.

You stop off first and meet friends for a coffee at their place.

Can you see where this is going?

I left my camera behind!

OK - so we were with friends and I didn't want to seem rude snapping away 'ooohhhhing' and 'aaahhhhing' at everything in site whilst the others chatted away enjoying a beautiful walk.

It can be a bit of an unsocial hobby at times.

Fortunately I had my phone with me that takes some pretty wonderful pictures - on a good day and when it's feeling in the mood.  We all have those days I guess.

But in April when the weather is so interchangeable.  One minute streaming sunshine and blue skies all around, the next a huge big black rain cloud looms and you can actually see it's raining on the horizon.

Even I have to agree these pictures are a little hazy.

I'm still kicking myself.  But hey ho - another day, another walk another beautiful scenery.  Just next time I won't forget my camera.

Fields of gold.

Oh and you know the picture I posted of a little cottage sat on a winding country lane back here?

Well this is their view out (from the front) across the fields.

ps. There is still time to enter my giveaway - all info is here - good     luck.
