My weekend

......via Instagram.

I haven't replaced my camera with my phone to take pictures these days - honestly - but it is rather handy and convenient sometimes.

Especially if you are caught out unawares.

Just look at this little fella I snapped on my phone keeping me company as I turned the earth over in a border I was working on at the weekend.

I dug and he bobbed around chirping ever so delicately to me, spying grubs and (I'm sure - I'm pulling a face by the way) tasty treats.  Can you spy the worm he's after?  You have to look really closely at the soil. To the left.

Anyway, I did get some proper pictures of Mr Robin on the old dslr when I gently shouted up the garden to one of the girls to go bring it......'quickly'......please.

I'll give you a better peek later on in the week of the images I captured - when I can get my backside into the right gear that is.

But back to my weekend - let's just say it consisted mainly of digging, getting dirty and more digging!  It's all non stop fun, fun, fun around here don't you know.

Anyhoo - just a quick pop in today as I've got a big appointment to take the eldest to in an hour so I'm finding it hard sticking to anything this afternoon.  I keep clock watching - darn that clock! Plus I'm suffering with an attack of the 'fidgeties' - I made that up......can you tell - so all in all it's not a good combination.

I feel like the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland today.

But before I go I'd like to say a big hello to some new followers - it's a new thing I thought I would start doing......give a big shout out so to speak......my way of saying 'hi' and showing my appreciation as I can be awfully forgetful sometimes in nipping around - as you know.

So say 'hello' to :::

Heather at the Woolgenie

A big warm welcome to you all.

Well I best go - that clock keeps ticking at me as if it's trying to tell me to 'hurry up!'
