Nina Nixon

I'm Nina, a photographer, film maker and forever wanderer.  Passionate about nature, the great outdoors and all of life's adventures.  This is the place where I keep all my 'field notes'

                                                                                   ......the missing pictures.

As you can see - I took a fair few pictures and these are probably just the ones from my scaled down file......there are more!

But I won't bore you with all the endless details of our day out 'no sirree' I'll just leave you with these pictures to feast your eyes on......and the link if you fancy checking it out for yourself.

Though I do have to say this - I have been dragged around quite a few historical homes/castles/mansions/manors/gardens/ruins, blah, blah, my time by the mister of the house - he's a bit of a history nerd (and almost published......any day now...... author) - but Snowshill Manor 'without a shadow of doubt' (so far) is my all time favourite.
Even the kids liked it - they got to try on armour!

Plus they do a 'proper' Easter egg hunt - none of this find the clues, put your answers on a postcard lark and then maybe maybe if you are lucky and if we pick your name out of a hat you can come and (have to) collect your prize in person......which is bonkers if you live 300 miles away and are just visiting for the day!  Try explaining that to your four year old.

Nope at Snowshill there was chocolate at the end of the hunt for the little ones which was the absolute icing on the cake for their day.

Anyhoo, I could wax lyrical about this place for ages and to be honest - I really didn't want to leave - so if you get a chance go grab it and take a look for yourself.
