Beautiful beach huts
Take a typical Summers evening stroll along one of our many beaches, give this girl a and camera and I will show you just a small sample of some of the beach huts beautifully decorated sitting proudly along our small stretch of coastline.
From every colour of pastel you could ever imagine to jauntily painted ice cream stripes, weather beaten, bright as you like to the seaside comical and then there are the ones that stand out alone as a piece of artwork in themselves.
This is the posh end of the beach where beach huts are privately owned and where rumour has it the interiors range from fully laminated floors and built in units to welsh dressers and chandeliers.
I'm thinking more like local Chinese whispers, but as all were boarded up for the night I couldn't confirm one way or another - nod, nod, wink, wink!
The regular council rented ones though (the type we have) vary in different stages of boring brown - from freshly stained to not so freshly stained, but hey ho - we make the most of the inside.
Well I did up until this year, but to be honest I can count on one hand (having a thumb spare) the number of times we've been down to our hut since May.
Maybe we'll go private next year.
I thought I'd leave the best till last.
Happy weekend - one week down of the Summer holidays and I'm still here *phew*
