I'm Nina, a photographer, film maker and forever wanderer.  Passionate about nature, the great outdoors and all of life's adventures.  This is the place where I keep all my 'field notes'

Early evening

How has it been in your part of the world today?

It's been muggy and hot and uncomfortably sticky here today.

We've gone from full on lethargy to short temperedness and whinging - all in one day!

So to help alleviate all that grumpiness I decided that an evening swim was a absolutely must - well I watched and paddled as three kids in the water all going in different directions was enough for me to cope with at that very moment in time.

And the water was surprisingly warm......once you got used to it.

Or in the case of two of my kiddos - once you had become fully emerged.

And much to my relief it did the job I had hoped it would do.  The grumps became banished and replaced with laughter and merriment.

And as an added little bonus - I had worn my three handfuls of children out.

Back home, ready for bed and an early night *big sigh*

There is nothing like the sea air to banish the blues - in what ever form they may appear.
