Our adventures with Poppy & Fred
I've been meaning to do this post for simple an age now - I think I mumbled something about it way back before the Summer, but life kind of got in the way I guess. The Summer holidays rolled on then the kids went back to school - excuses, excuses I know......I'm rubbish!
Now this posting may seem a little disjointed - a bit all over the place you may say, but there is a theory to my madness......honest.
Basically way back in June I discovered such a fabulous place it made my inner child squeal......for a very long time indeed.
Welcome to the world of Poppy and Fred.
Any of you mums out there with little girls will totally get it if I say don't you ever wish they made adult sizes?! Well not only at Poppy do they make 'the most' beautiful and gorgeous children's clothes, they make them for us grown up girls too.
Unfortunately the mister of the house pennies couldn't be persuaded to buy me a little old dress - all for me - but just you wait until we have a wedding coming up 'oh yes' the girls at Tabiboo will be beautifully coordinated......I just need to convince one of my sisters I think to hurry on up. That's the way forward I'm thinking.
But I did manage to squeeze a few gorgeous mugs into my basket which I was told (and have to agree) serve a most delicious cuppa and wash up beautifully - they do really. Plus they are just the right size to carry around. And of course a couple of colouring books for the girls that kept them pretty much completely entertained (on and off) for most of the Summer.
Back to the posting though. The idea was to take a series of pictures with our Poppy and Fred mugs out and about taking them along with us on our little jaunts. I kind of got carried away though and took quite a few.
Soooooo if you're thinking 'what's this all about then?' well now you know.
'Our adventures with Poppy & Fred' - do go take a peek. They are terrific!
Have a beautiful autumnal day.
