OK so the Christmas tree may still be sat in the back garden, but if there's one thing I'm good at it's fairy lights.
To be honest I'm waiting for my big strong man to drag it in through the house and set it up on the stand - when he can get his head out of writing the follow up to 'The Fix'. The kids and I can do the twirly stuff.
Who'd of thought being married to an author could be so time consuming.
I'm hoping to nag enough tonight to encourage the deed to be done tomorrow (insert smiley face here) - though on the 13th, that makes me feel a little uneasy. Maybe Friday - so much for my traditions.
Until then I can live with the whole house being lit up like a Christmas tree alone...with the amount of fairy lights I've decked it out with.
In true Raymond Briggs style - thank goodness for blooming fairy lights!
