I think we may of had these past couple of days mixed back to front - yesterday all gloomy, grey, wet and windy - today full of sunshine and warmth.
Though a strange and murky dimpled sky appeared overhead around eleven'ish' and I did kind of think 'oh!'
We chose to spend this morning down on the seafront exploring the things we never felt brave enough to do - like climb the railings and head out along the old slipway. I never knew that pole was bent...all these years!
But the morning came and went and the sunshine stayed with us. I like to think the long calendar actually marks the start of a new beginning- a new dawn - and not all the end of us, like some would have us believe.
Have a warm and peaceful solstice and a very merry lead up to Christmas.
Happy weekend to you all.
