Wrapping it up

Don't you just love this concept. The first time I stumbled across it was on Pinterest and I immediately fell in love.

Anything that involves some kind of 'DIY' printed pattern is right up my street and I knew in an instant that I had to give it a go.

Clare is the face behind The Painted House and 'oh my' the designs and ideas are just absolutely fabulous.  I could of bought them all....but I didn't.

With Christmas coming I had only one thought in mind - wrapping paper!  And with the 'stag and deer' as one of the range I knew it would be perfect.  Clare had told me that it would print onto paper like a dream and a flash.  She wasn't wrong either...sooooo addictive.

I did buy the whole kit, but the idea was instead of using paint I wanted to use ink on my roller - so I opted to leave the applicator off with this first attempt.

First a green pad, but the colour was too faded so I tried gold - with it being Christmas and all - and that worked fabulously.  And just for the hell of it - black!  Though don't do what I did and try and roller back on yourself - unless you're a pro that all goes a bit pre 3D.

So what do you think?  A fabulous idea with gorgeous effects.

I absolutely love it.
