I'm Nina, a photographer, film maker and forever wanderer.  Passionate about nature, the great outdoors and all of life's adventures.  This is the place where I keep all my 'field notes'

Do you ever find yourself seeing the seasons as colour?  I do - a lot.  I guess it's just one of my quirks.

For me mid Spring is always yellow.

The daffs are in bloom, primrose, tulip and crocus.  But the main attraction - that stands out in my minds eye the most - is forsythia in all her glorious goldeness.

Set boldly against the bluest of skies or the dull grey of a changing day, she even shines in the deluge of an April shower, shimmering with droplets of diamonds on her delicate petals.

Yes, forsythia is the one for me at this time in the season...until the magnolia crashes onto the scene, taking over centre stage.

A good old dose of cheerfulness - yes please!  What's yours?
