I'd like to say our weekend was pretty uneventful, but I ache (terribly) and in a good way 'yay!' so I'm guessing it wasn't all that uneventful.
I have to be honest because even though I do ache (terribly) in a good way 'yay!' - I feel I've not a lot to show for our efforts. Like so many of you lovelies that let me know what your weekend plans were, we too ventured out - into the wilderness - that we shamefully call a garden, to have a massive tidy up.
Despite all the talk on how productive we are as a self sufficient family, if you ever read my 'twitterings' then you'll know I'm a most reluctant gardener!
It's amazing what you can find buried under a Winter's worth of undergrowth and the strange items we lost and reunited with their owners. Mainly a bucket load of pegs that had found themselves 'pinged' in a peg war last Summer!
But clearing and tidying was done and seeds were planted...for the beautiful cut flower patch I 'will' have this year. And although the seeds we planted last month in anticipation (ha!) for Spring have sat dormant since that time in the greenhouse, seedlings are just starting to make a show...phew!
There is promise in the air...filled with a lot of hope.
