'Tis that time of year again.
We made crumble with early windfall apples - a little sour if I do say so myself, but with a generous dollop of vanilla ice cream whilst the crumble was still warm or straight from the fridge all cold and gooey with thick (clotted) cream - both dairies of the Cornish variety - it tasted just how it should, of late Summer and warm lazy August days...with a hint of Autumn on the way.
We're going back for more at the weekend with jam in mind.
