I'm Nina, a photographer, film maker and forever wanderer.  Passionate about nature, the great outdoors and all of life's adventures.  This is the place where I keep all my 'field notes'

Keeping cosy

I tend to hibernate at this time of the year - creature of habit - my friends laugh at my hunkering down ways.

Pantry filled to the rafters, woodpile fully stock...a shelf dedicated just for raspberry vodka...for those extra chilly nights.  They nickname me the dormouse.  It's their affectionate way but how true they are.

We've been keeping cosy this past week or so, I'm sure many of you have been doing the same thing too, but at this time of the year I always tend to lean more towards the traditional ways - the way my granny would do things.

So I bought myself a little enamel teapot to keep on the wood burning stove.  Just a little something to help keep those chills away, a constant cuppa on the go.  It saves me finding those never ending, half drunk, left to go cold cups of tea I always end gathering up and cursing to myself for having to start all over again.

It also looks the part...I think.
