We are all sat cosied up in our lovely little home today. I lit the wood burner first thing this morning and the gentle steady stream of heat is much of a comfort as the rain lashes down outside and the wind buffets around knocking the trees backwards and forwards. It is the perfect way to spend the Solstice.
The shortest day, the longest night.
Candles are lit dotted around the house, the tree is illuminated whilst every corner is bathed with a soft glow filling our home and hearts with warmth.
Tonight we will feast with much laughter and mirth then all curl up together and watch something Christmassy and cheesy.
Have a wonderful Winter Solstice - however you've plan to spend the day...and of course have a most snuggled up evening.
