It's not very often the mister and I get to go out together. We manage the odd lunch date when his job allows him to work from home, but that is few and far between.
So to spend a whole (school) day mooching around our local beautiful cathedral town with it's cobbled streets and wonky buildings - never forget to look up, the architecture is stunning - and a lunch date thrown in is somewhat of a treat.
I'm way too shy to do the 'all in' tourist thing (just in case I bump into a familiar face pondering what on earth I was doing - you're local for goodness sake!) but I did manage a selfie - albeit in the ladies lav - and a sneaky side shot of the mister.
Today may of been the very last time we visit Canterbury (for a while) - the winds of change are blowing for us and at the moment we are uncertain where it may carry us.
But where ever we go or what ever happens to us I'm a great believer in everything has a reason...if it's meant to be.
