'ropes, posts & a bit of old seaweed'

We've had some awesome days (weather wise) so far this Winter - we've also had some crap ones too - but when the sun's come out it's been blooming lovely.
On one of these particular 'awesome' days - the weekend before last - we took the kids down to The Warren out towards Folkestone for a spot of fossil hunting...and a lovely walk (don't tell the teen that was our initial plan).
Muddy was an understatement, we sank up to our ankles deep in mud and almost slipped over a couple of times. But once we hit the beach it could of been a gorgeous day early in Summer, not the middle of Winter - it was so warm.
Fossils were found, but the thing that struck me the most was the higgledy posts, lopsided...battered with time.
And the little white photo bombing pooch.
