So how did you do at the weekend?
I ticked off five out of the ten items I had on my weekend 'bucket list' which for a first (I think) is pretty good going. We also had the weather to contend with on Saturday which put a dampener on our plans in the afternoon. But I'm pretty impressed that we achieved half of it.
Not all of it turned out perfectly - like my salted caramel brownies. I just couldn't get the caramel to the point where it was a lovely deep brown colour...it kept crystallising. But to be honest, it wasn't a list to be followed rigidly - it was just nice to have some options.
So this is what we ticked off.
We discovered something new. We went to Wilmslow in the morning. Not very exciting I know, but it's a found and done thing on our bigger list of exploring.
We fed the ducks.
I made squidgy chocolate brownies with vanilla and salted caramel sauce...on the side.
I captured the super moon - wasn't it gorgeous. I used my :: 300mm lens - f/5.6 - ISO100 - 1/400 sec :: The only editing I did was to crop in tighter.
I've not included the new hill we found as we were in the car and not on foot - which was my initial intention.
And I filmed all the footage I needed to make my short film on the 'Capturing Childhood' course I'm taking.
As mentioned on Friday I'm going to make this a feature, so if you would like to join along with me we can discovery the adventures, share the discoveries...together.
