We achieved so much on our list this week and managed to squeeze a few more things in too.
Foraging in the North West is a new one for us and I keep forgetting that we are probably a good couple of weeks behind the South where I am so much more in tune to the seasons and generous pickings. Also knowing the best (secret) places to visit. But it will come...with time. It was slim and those we found were sour, but just give us until September - when I'm sure it will all be rather fabulous.
Kindling was collected. Not that we have an open fire any more, but a camp fire is still on my list of things to do before the nights get too chilly....or should I say chillier.
We didn't quite meet up with friends (as planned) but we did bump into some lovely ones which was unexpected - more on this later. But it does nicely follow onto the exciting bit because on Sunday (as I may of already suggested - cough, cough) we spent the whole day - from dawn 'ish' till dusk having the best time ever. This also falls into the category of 'later'.
Family time was 'endless' games of Monopoly. I forget every time why I hide it - competition runs high in this household.
Crafting came in a variety of ways and I have a little makey to organise and share.
I'm going to tuck my bucket lists away in a drawer for a couple of weeks - until the kids are back at school. I can't believe how much we've achieved this Summer and it is far more than I expected. But we are away for a few days and are already feeling tired, so we shall be saving all our energy for purely being spontaneous.
