I love the concept of sharing a picture from the cutting room floor. Simply to share a picture that didn't quite make it in the selection process.
So when I was asked by my lovely friend Sarah-Lou at Lapinblu (go check her out by the way - her work is utterly beautiful) if I would like to share over on Instagram a picture from my cutting room floor I didn't really think too hard about it. I have heaps of pictures stored on my phone that I've taken, but for some reason or another haven't quite got that something I'm looking for.
I selected my picture and posted it on Instagram with the relevant hashtag and thought nothing of it.
It seems though I had got it completely wrong.
This picture has evoked many beautiful comments, memories and thoughts.
*extremely interesting, deeply engrossing. Soul absorbing.
This is the landscape I now call home.
