Fifteen candles on the cake this year and I still can't seem to fathom out where the time has gone.
Of course I do know really, but it doesn't ease the fact that my little man is now fast becoming a young man and his character is evolving, almost changing again.
His personality is emerging and it's refreshing to see the shy boy slowly becoming confident with possibility.
Where he once dipped his toe in the big world that nurtured him, wide eyed and unsure of how it all fitted together or worked he now explores his boundaries and is rapidly becoming a part of that world. Eager to plant his feet firmly, to make his mark.
Discovering his potential at his own pace and to shoulder his mistakes, because we all make them naturally, it's part of becoming who we are, how we grow.
Making the world his new adventure playground.
