A few weeks back I received an exciting and wonderful email asking if I would like to take the pictures at the official Christmas lights switch on at the Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke.
It was an opportunity I simply could not refuse.
I love the Stoke factory. Brimming with all kinds of wonders and wares it's like an aladdin's cave of gorgeousness and I could get lost in there for days. But add the sparkle of Christmas and well, I'm in festive season heaven.
Add demos by some of the best crafts people in their field. Carols, a brass band, mince pies and mulled wine. Plus some rather excited children as it had snowed in the night and christmas shoppers milling around. It truly was a beautiful event to spark the merry making.
