Imagination is such a marvellous thing.
The games I would play, the stories I would create. Characters, worlds and alternative lives I would act out. Down to the smallest detail. All from within my imagination.
But those waking hours can be a far cry from the scary thoughts you have in the dark hours. Your imagination starts to play tricks on you and the bad stuff comes to the forefront of your mind. Making them feel frighteningly real, come alive, projected outside the safety of your visualisation.
And when you become a certain age, everything just seems that little bit real. The edges come blurred, defining reality from those pesky life like nightmares.
So we made a dream catcher.
Woven from nature and made from love, kind words and jolly good thoughts.
So far it's working a dream.
Good dreams. A whole lot of original, creative, inventive, beautiful ...dreams.
