February wouldn't be February without snowdrops.

It's these late winter days when you can literally smell spring gently wafting in on a southerly breeze, that I spend all the daylight hours searching hedgerows and lanes for these tiny and delicate flowers.

It never ceases to amaze me, the feat of engineering and the great enormity of effort that goes into the construction of such magnificent architectural structures.  Especially when you can get up really close and blow your mind at the grand scale of it all.  Wondering how such impressive building works could ever be achieved.

Calm has been restored again and to be quite honest, I've spent the past week soaking it up.  I love that we've started to crack on with the house, but hate the invasion into my space.  There is no happy compromise, apart from to grit my teeth and get on with it.
